Welcome back to the Faire Fashion Index, our guide to the past month’s top sartorial searches to keep you on the cusp of what’s trending today.
Building on last month, retailers are prepping for the warm weather by stocking up on spring and summer wardrobe essentials. Think: denim cutoff shorts, sandals, maxi dresses, and knit rompers. And they’re getting ready for beach days ahead with fun crop tops, breathable tanks, and swimwear too.
While wholesale buying for Easter and interest in “spring” search terms slowed in March, retailers did sprint to stock up ahead of the solar eclipse—helping shoppers dress the part with on-theme tees representing the magical lunar moment.
A few other trends that have continued to top the charts: bamboo pajamas, boyfriend socks, and plus-size clothing to ensure retail stores are inclusive for all. We’ve omitted those here in favor of what’s new and trending within Faire’s community of apparel retailers. Let’s dive in!
