The top trends
Statement-making sweaters
As we make our way into shoulder season, everyone is clamoring for the perfect sweater to meet the moment: one that is cozy at home, looks cool at the office, keeps you warm outside, but is breathable when you need some air. And these sweaters aren’t just functional—they make a statement. Writes Vogue, “Allow us to introduce you to the super-shaggy sweater, which puts the spotlight on dramatic details such as 3D fringe, fuzzy allover mohair, and chunky handwoven patterns.” This lines up with popular searches on Faire, as retailers are heading to Very J for its oversized pullovers and striped crews and to Things Between for colorful cardigans.
Want to stay ahead of the game? Capes are also having a moment. We particularly love the vegan cashmere options from Ookie & Lala and the hooded cape coats from Pretty Persuasions. Keep an eye out for them as you stock up next month.
Romantic details
Romance is very much alive, thanks to the resurgence of flirty shapes and eye-catching details that are turning heads on and off the runway. Refinery29 notes that they’re seeing “gauzy maxi dresses, button-downs and flowing pants that let underthings shine through.” And the bubble trend is as coquettish as they come. Indeed, WWD reports that shoppers are turning away from quiet luxury and going in the way of opulence in the form of “lace, lingerie, florals and flounce.”
On Faire, we’re seeing this popularity for romantic details as well, with lots of interest in corset dresses and Marie Antoinette–inspired apparel and accessories (think: gilded, floral, vintage, and glam)—mirroring the Victorian Noir trend we identified for 2025. Makers like Idem Ditto are surging in popularity for their crochet crop tops, ruffled off-the-shoulder blouses, and sequined numbers, and Blu Pepper continues to be a mainstay with its floral minis, puff-sleeved tops, and billowy blouses made for date night.
Tennis match to coffee-date sets
According to Marie Claire, “As with any comfort-minded trend, the ‘athluxe’ attitude will surely have legs and will likely last well into spring.” And when it comes to matching sets with an athletic look, we are here for it—anything that can take us from the gym to coffee with friends with ease.
Whether you’re heading to run errands, jumping on a plane, or indeed going to the gym, Dear Scarlett has a slew of stretchy, comfortable, and colorful sets in a range of styles and silhouettes. Little Daisy Closet, too, has matching sets that aren’t the least bit pajama-looking. In fact, with just the right amount of texture, they could be easily dressed up with a blazer and boots for a day or night out.
Boho-chic
Writes Vogue: “The boho revival that defined our fall wardrobes remains current for late winter/early spring.” We can’t get enough of this trend that provides a breezy, laissez-faire vibe to our wardrobe—and neither can shoppers. From Lily Clothing’s oversized cotton overalls to suede fringe tops from Blue B and crochet crops from LoveLina, there are countless ways to integrate some boho into your shop.
When in doubt, go for florals, relaxed silhouettes, that fringe we mentioned earlier, and neutral tones: think ’60s and ’70s hippie styles but a little more polished. (This is boho-chic, after all.)
Daring denim
On Faire, we’re seeing fresh interest in patchwork jeans, from brands like Rosa Clothing and Oli & Hali. This lines up with Fashionista’s report that elevated denim will be a big trend coming up for the spring, as they saw plenty of high-fashion looks grounded by denim on the runways this year. Vogue, too, is seeing interest in elevated everyday staples—and what is more of a staple than your favorite pair of jeans?
While they’re pointing to novelty denim from Valentino—“more is more…with bold colors and an eclectic mix of prints and textures”—we’ll point you in the direction of similar pieces from HiddenBrand and Loowie.
Equestrian vibes
With brands like Hermès, whose goods are perennially adored, equestrian looks never seem to go out of style. Perhaps this is why we’re seeing a rise in equestrian-inspired apparel and accessories on Faire. From Wild Indigo’s cowboy hats to scarves printed with equestrian scenes, retailers are searching for ways to help shoppers express their love of horses, the great outdoors, and scenes of the West. Want to stock up? Start with this Winding River orange and cream reversible scarf and Bridle Up Hope’s collections of equestrian-loving sweaters and hats.
